TRALICCIO LPR® ZS SYSTEM
The TRALICCIO LPR® System is revolutionized with a variant created specifically to reinforce the wooden floor in seismic areas.
The new LPR® ZS (Zona Sismica = Seismic Areas) System consists of an innovative ZS® Plate which, anchored to the masonry and to the beam in the longitudinal direction and to the slab and to the masonry in an orthogonal direction, allows an anchorage to the wall that exploits the effect root for anti-seismic reinforcement.

THE ELEMENTS THAT MAKE UP THE SYSTEM
- ZS® plates, perpendicular and longitudinal to the beams;
- TRALICCIO LPR®, superimposed on the longitudinal ZS® plate;
- Threaded bars, applied to the ZS® plate with certified resin to form a cerclage of the perimeter walls;
- Tie rods perpendicular to the beams, screwed to the ZS® plate and passing through the holes in the TRALICCIO LPR®
HOW TO STRENGTHEN THE WOODEN FLOOR
Place the ZS® Plates on the center line of the beams.
Drill the wall according to the inclination of the holes in the ZS® plate.
Clean the holes with compressed air.
Insert the two-component resin into the previously created holes.
Position the TRALICCIO LPR® and insert the threaded rods and relative nuts.
Fix the TRALICCIO LPR® in the holes of the ZS® Plate.
Complete the work with the tie rod, inserted in the ZS® plate orthogonal to the beams.
PRODUCTS FOR REINFORCING WOODEN FLOOR
Cylindrical connector with variable diameter and height, designed on the basis of the characteristics of the double frame floor to be reinforced.
Continuous metal trellis in 3 meter long bars that can be overlapped with variable heights from 35mm and 160mm.
Microperforated polyethylene sheet, permeable to water vapor with polypropylene reinforcement mesh.
The specific screws with wood thread DIN 571, have variable diameters and lengths, are produced for Peter Cox ® and have a tapered underhead for a safe “fusion” with the LPR® truss.
ORTHOGONAL ZS® PLATE
ZS plate orthogonal to the floor beams. The plate is fixed to the masonry through the insertion of resin with ETA certificate and threaded rods. Instead, it is anchored to the concrete slab by means of a threaded bar for structural use 8.8.
LONGITUDINAL ZS® PLATE
ZS® plate longitudinal to the floor beams. The plate is fixed to the masonry through the insertion of resin with ETA certificate and threaded rods. It’s anchored to the wooden beams using DIN 571 screws and to the slab using the LPR Trellis.
